Recipe: Delicious Chocolate Cake

Found inside the Small Spice Bag from Outland and Dalaran cooking dailies, this recipe requires Simple Flour and several other ingredients. It's not fished directly, but one of its key ingredients — Glacial Salmon — comes from Northrend fishing pools. The cake itself is a fun novelty item and completionists love adding it to their recipe books.

Recipe: Seafood Magnifique Feast

The Cataclysm-era raid feast requires Highland Guppy, Lavascale Catfish, Fathom Eel, and Deepsea Sagefish — all fished from specific Cataclysm zones. While the recipe comes from reaching a certain cooking skill threshold, the ingredients are the bottleneck. Nat Pagle's Fish Terminator

This two-handed mace is a reference to the legendary fisherman Nat Pagle and can be fished from Zulian Mudskunk pools in Zul'Gurub (the original raid version had these, and similar items persist in various forms). Rockhide Strongfish

The There's Gold In That There Fountain achievement requires you to fish up dozens of unique coins from the Dalaran fountain. Each coin is a reference to a famous WoW NPC and has flavor text. The coins are divided into tiers:
